It may cause damage to electronic equipment causing fire, explosion, EMI, RFI, heat, light and sound. COMMON GROUND POINT
As per ANSI/ESD S20:20 all conductors including Personnel must be electrically connected and attached to a known ground.

Anti-static work station operators need a convenient method of grounding their wrist straps where the ground cord won’t get in the way of their work. This Common Ground Point brings all the connections (buttons & sockets) to the same potential before grounding.

EARTH BONDING PLUG (Model: EBP-01)
ESD EARTH BONDING PLUG is designed to provide safe, effective and easy to use in earthing point in an ESD protected area (EPA). The plug fits in to the mains supply socket, making a connection with the earth conductor only. In place of the Line & Neutral pins are molded insulating plastic pins to allow positive location in the socket. Banana Sockets & Button are provided for the various elements such as table Mat, Floor Mat, Wrist Strap & Grounding Cords etc.

The normal earth pin is linked with 1 Meg Ohms resistor to the banana sockets & button to limit the reverse current from the earth.

WRIST STRAP & FOOT WEAR TESTER (Model: WSFT-01)
Wrist Strap & ESD foot wears are the first line of defence against electrostatic charges build up on the human body. It is designed to carry away this charge as soon as it is generated. At the same time wrist strap/foot wear must remain electrically safe for the user. Thus, it is important to test every wrist strap / footwear regularly.

In order to protect the sensitive electronic components the maximum wrist strap resistance should not more than 10 Meg ohms and foot wears resistance should not more than 100 Meg ohms. On the other end, the resistance should not be less than 0.75 Meg ohms as protection to the wearer from dangerous level of the voltage and current flow.

The wrist strap and the footwear tester checks these parameters under actual operating conditions with the strap on the wrist or foot wear on the foot. It clearly indicates whether or not the resistance the wrist strap/foot wear system including the wearer is at least 0.75 Meg ohms and not more than 10/100 Meg ohms respectively.

OPTIONAL FOR WSFT-01
1. The WSFT-01 can be wall mounted outside the ESD protected area by using the INSTRUCTION board. Foot wears can be tested by connecting the FOOT PLATE.
2. The WSFT-01 has the special features of accessing the ESD protected area door by using Electro Magnetic Lock.

EARTH RESISTANCE TESTER (Model: ERT-01)
Electronic Digital Earth Resistance Tester is direct replacement of the conventional hand generator type tester. It is designed for measurement of the resistance of earthing used in the electrical equipment as well as for measurement of ground Resistivity. It can also be used for measurement of the other low regular and liquid resistances.

This is powered by rechargeable NiCd cells, A LCD low battery indication appears when its battery goes down, which can be recharged by connecting to mains AC supply through charging lead provided with the instrument.

Application: This instrument finds wide application for testing earthing installations in power based industries, telecommunication net works and electrical traction systems, etc.

Caution: Since the instrument supply AC voltage to the test object, it should kept in mind that object having no reactance can only be tested.

Resistance Range: Ohm (reading can be taken up to 19.90 Ohm) and Ohm (reading can be taken up to 1990 Ohm).
