Reliable on-the-spot measurement of static charges has been easier than
with the portable SCM-04. Hand-held, yet highly accurate and low drift,
the SCM- 04 answers three basic questions:

The
instrument is ideal for
use in such static sensitive environment as electronic component
production and assembly areas, clean rooms, computer, medical and

The unit gives direct readings of electrostatic potentials on any
surface, when held at a distance of 1 Inch. However, virtually any
electrostatic potential can be measured by proportionately increasing
the distance from the meter to the charged object.

Human body voltage checker is a new and unique visual method of
detecting how much static charge a person is carrying. The unit can be
wall mounted outside the ESD protected area to avoid charged persons
unknowingly entering.
The meter must always be grounded to produce an accurate measurement.
But more importantly to allow the operator to discharge to a safe
handling limit. Touch the Touch to test, and watch the LIQUID CRYSTAL
DISPLAY indicated between 0 to 1999V of the static charge +/- Polarity.

Human Body Voltage Checker is a new and unique visual method of
detecting how much static charge a person is carrying. The unit can be
wall mounted outside the ESD protected area to avoid charged persons
unknowingly entering, or used by operators to periodically check that
they are not creating a charge within the protected area.
It is very simple to use and only requires the personnel under test to
touch the plate on the instrument and directly read the charge level on
the meter. Apart from the measuring the charge, it can also be used to
safely drain away the charges Existing on the body.
It has a feature of visual and audible warning when it detects voltage
over a certain threshold.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
The instrument must always be connected to ground; not grounding the
unit can result in inconsistent results. The circuit will only become
responsive when you offer a path to ground.
APPLICATION:
